Valencia Basket held on through defense and collective work to a match in which they found no outside success to beat Joventut Badalona by 83-76 and certify their presence in the Endesa League Playoff for the 18th consecutive season. The initial success in the triples of the green-black team put us behind in the first quarter but the entry of Jovic and Anderson activated the taronja team to react with a 10-0 run to end up taking the lead and leading into the break. The Taronja team relied on the national triplet formed by Xabi, Pradilla and Claver to stay ahead in the third act despite the lack of success in the outside shot, but they never managed to consolidate the advantage against a combative green-black team and the game entered tied in the last five minutes.
